The doctor told me no coffee during IVF. Today is the 3rd day without coffee. It’s not easy 🥱

Gets much easier. I quit coffee 2 years ago and first few weeks were hard but after I actually felt so much better than when I drank caffeine! And I’ve had to do an all-nighter here and there for work and it’s surprisingly much easier without coffee

It truly does! I went through several days of migraines, but it was SO worth it. I overall feel SO much better and didn't resume after IVF. Sets you up for great success of refraining from any while pregnant!

Tips: As soon as you wake up, chug a large glass of water. Take a walk mid-day (if you're sluggish in the afternoon like I was)

No tea as well? My doctor said no chocolate too. Atleast in the leaflet I was handed. Weird part is I don't drink too much coffee but now I feel liek

I ate plenty of chocolate during embryo freezing and got good results, fwiw. But I have not done full IVF.

It’s hard! When I started IVF, I was put off million things… some recommended by doctor other by my mind but it does get better. I did not drink coffee or alcohol for 3 years now. IVF, pregnancy and now breastfeeding. It’s hard and decaffeinated teas work only so much!

At what point do you decide to switch labs when IVF isn’t working. I’ve had one cycle so far, and 2 FETs with an AA and AB embryos (both genetically tested), and no luck yet. No underlying infertility issues (doing IVF for genetic reasons) so I’m kind of confused as to why I’m not having success. I have one AB embryo left and if that doesn’t work I don’t know if I should stick with the same RE/lab or go somewhere else? Like how do you know if it’s you or them that’s the problem?
