Several years ago a gay male acquaintance said he didn't date Black guys. It made me bristle but I was not surprised. Now he's married to one. I feel in a way vindicated every time I see his loving social media posts with his Black husband of like 5 years or so now.

How did he get over his apparent aversion to Black men enough to go and marry one? Where would he be if he hadn't had a change of heart?

I work as a Business Development Manager at a sports club.. I’ve been given a couple of months “trial” in the 6 figure and above sales in which I don’t see going back to my other role on lower sales. I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?

Duties would have me responsible for a small team of research nurses as well as other managerial duties for the department.
