Hi , i am having 3 yoe and have an offer from cts having joining date as 8 june but i want to resign on 15th march and not before that due to some project reasons . So my LWD becomes 13 June if i put resignation on 15th march which is more than my joining date 8 june .so what should i do in this situation i have already mailed my assigned recruiter at cts to extend my joining date but getting no response . I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.

A partner put me in charge of a specific project that I ran independently. Things were going well. The client began asking me to do more and more, including revamping their system and internal trainings. The client even gave me a litigation matter. Suddenly, the partner became more involved. I was removed from meetings concerning the revamping, my trainings were cancelled, and he started micromanaging. He has now sidelined me from the project and trash talked me to the client. I am very upset.

What is your best “would you rather, consultant edition”? Some ones from my colleagues: take an hour of meeting minutes or update a project plan? Travel Sunday night or leave at 4am on Monday?

After about a year and a half in Big 4 public accounting (specifically tax), I have realized that I do not necessarily love traditional accounting. I have my masters in accounting and have passed the CPA. I have a few internships in finance, but it still seems people only want to hire me for accounting roles. Always felt like my peloton bike wasn’t calibrated well but after moving homes the issue is much worse. Now using my parents bike while traveling here for the month and very easily PRing way above previous PRs, better hitting target ranges, and also feeling like I’m getting an overall better workout.
