Anyone from Boston Consulting Group Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working in non-consulting - Technology/Engineering/Global Services?
How's the work life balance? Glassdoor reviews are full of "long working hours" and hence wanted to know if it's the same with non-consulting folks as well?
How far is it true across the organisation?
Please help me shed some light to decide.
Thanks.

Im a United flyer but had to fly Delta once. The attendant came and said “thanks for being a silver medallion member”. I’ve never been more embarrassed.
That and the condescending sneers from all the platinums or whatever you delta people have. I wanted to scream out my United Hilton Marriott and enterprise and Avis (yes sir both) status.
(I hope people get that I’m just trying to be funny here)

Might have been quicker to berate / insult the United Silvers and non-status holders tbh

Legit one of the funniest comments I've read in months

Had a captain do that once and, while I was appreciative, I was a little worried about how long he was out of the cockpit lol
Gave every 1K a business card with a personalized note

This is super weird
Delta attendant stopped by my seat this week and thanked me for being a million miler. The couple sitting next to me stared at her. It was a little awkward, so she improv-ed- “And thank YOU TWO for flying with us too!”
So many frequent flyers
47 1K and GS? Sheesh, were you flying between DEN and EWR or something?
Chief
EWR to IAH actually
I feel like this was a Chicago flight

Feels like that would delay the process
This is a United flight that you’re assuming is already leaving on time. 😂

Once again reminding you how useless the status has become.
It’s fine if you get it incidentally but given how much you’d have to travel, spend, and pay for it, the fact that it’s so common means that you rarely get upgrades.
Next year it should be a little harder, I think the 1K PQP’s will be rough for domestic flyers 🤷♂️
Just take off and give me the Pringle's plz
