Welcome to the new era of 'diversity' in Corporate America. Which essentially just means any gender or race apart from straight, white men. My firm has white women all over the leadership structure and they STILL actively talk about how more women are needed.
This is not a slight against women; it is a wake up call. Diversity is being used as a political weapon in organizations for select groups to gain power/control - NOT to provide equity to the playing field.

https://joinfishbowl.com/post_ok2k5n this guy posted this same article in the company bowl, but was celebrating the success of there being more asian partners. Mind you, there are ZERO black partners and the firms “diversity” has greatly boosted the already well represented asians and white women in the firm. And has the nerve to say Asians are invisible when Black people are literally always excluded from the narrative of diversity at the firm.
I think I'm missing something here. Just because you or a group of people have it worst doesn't mean others can't lament and organize when they themselves are in a bad situation.
Or was he saying look at all the diversity and just pointing to Asian partners? Or saying that Asian struggles are by far the worst?
Fair enough. Asian diversity is diversity. But it obviously isn't the only diversity. you can show it as progress but not as some near perfect milestone
