Some kid fed dried corn cob to his pet bird who later died of food poisoning; kid puts the bird body in the sack and threw over your fence.

funny

Your neighbor is a witch and is putting a pox on you.

In reality, #1 is probably a raccoon or rat getting into someone’s trash and eating the corn cob, getting startled by something else in your yard and leaving in a rush. #2 is probably a cat that killed the bird. #3 probably is the neighbor witch.

smart

Crows are leaving you presents.

We've lived here over a decade and many of our neighbors have changed over the years including immediate neighbors on both sides and we back up to a big pond.

1 I assume a neighbor is leaving them out to feed animals and a squirrel is carrying them to my yard, but they are always in the same spot and not near the protection of a large tree.

2 Always directly in front of our third garage stall and they are always at the same stage, not nearly early enough to be pushed out of the nest. No teeth marks or claw marks, most logical answer would be a Mama bird dumped it after it didn't survive hatching but there is no eggshell and nowhere for a nest to be above it. We have a dog but she isn't out in the front yard unsupervised. Maybe a cat or other predator is doing it but why the same spot and so many years in a row?

3. I have no idea what these are. Cheesecloth maybe? They are stuffed with something that attracts my dog and I only find them when she is chewing on them. At first I thought someone was trying to poison my dog but she wasn't harmed by them. Maybe catnip? Maybe something used in tea or cooking? Doesn't explain why they keep ending up in my front yard periodically though.

1 and 2 okay whatever but 3? Wtf

Husband is begging for a baby and I’ve held him off as long as I can. Not kidding, he called OBGYNs this morning to get answers to questions I had and help me start looking for a physician. I am very maternal and love babies, but I value my independence and my career. I’m 34 and don’t think I’ll ever be “ready.” Anyone else go into motherhood with hesitance? Im scared for my identity, for my marriage, for messing up my kid, for missing opportunities. It feels like more grief than joy.

I am failing to control my 3.5 year old’s behavior issues, he breaks things, throws stuff and finds it funny. I have tried keeping his favorite toy away each time he doesn’t behave, but nothing seems to work. He gets cranky and does things like spitting, hitting his 7 month old baby sister. I am really concerned about his behavior, any suggestions? I heard about behavior therapy (counseling) any ideas on that? Would love to hear if anything you tried and worked. Thanks a lot
