I've noticed that a lot of angel group meetings happen during the work day. My understanding is that most angels have other day jobs. Do people just take time off work to go to these meetings? Are most angels entrepreneurs themselves?

Just got dumped after 6 months. We had a serious connection so I thought, said we loved each other, talked about future, looked like I was everything he said he wanted. But he thought I was out of his league, more established, there was an age difference, I have older kids, he has one young child. I lurked on his IG and he is on vacation with someone else 😂🥺 I’m HEARTBROKEN. How tf do I recover?!?

My husbands mom lives with us and we usually get along fine, but today I am over it. WFH means being with her 24/7 and after the holiday's I am just done. I wish it was just the 2 of us again. Can I force his sister to take her? I want my house back, but I also don't want to be the crabby wife.

Would you go on an international vacation shortly after a frozen embryo transfer (5-10 days after)? It is looking like my first transfer opportunity will be shortly before a trip I already have planned. I’d rather not wait, and the one time I have been pregnant before I implanted on a international vacation but I don’t know if this is a stupid thing to do? I have a very stressful job so maybe it would be good to be away from work?? Curious what others think.

Hi Ladies, Im in my end 20s and feel like my life is passing by and everyday feels the same. I just came back from a weekend trip with my family and I always feel that I can’t enjoy it 100%. My mind is not present. When I’m on vacation I think about work and want to get back to work and missing all the great quality time I supposed to have. When I’m working I want to go on vacation. I hate this feeling and it’s driving me insane. Do you have any advice?

POV: I’m a corporate junior associate and I am 250 hours behind my target to make hours this year (need 2k for bonus). Am I just SOL at this point? My fear is that I’m busting my ass and saying yes to every deal to try to make it up but if I don’t make my hours anyway, I didn’t have to try so hard and stress. Have seen comp for NACR (restructuring) listed at around 150-200 for analysts, 200-275 for associates, and one mention of senior associates at 375k. Supposedly NACR gets crushed in terms of hours. But i've also read that targets are around 2000 hours per year? Something doesn't add up.....e.g. Associate $550/hr * 25% cap rate * 2000 billable hrs = $275k.......but 2000 hours is slightly over 40 hours a week (including 4 weeks vacay), not the 80 hr/week. So is there a ton of time on vacation?
