Anyone been rolled off projects due to conflicting personality on client side? How badly would this be looked down upon?
After joining as an experienced employee in TCS will the company put that employee on bench or will directly hire into the project
Does L1.5 support people get new project after landing on bench from existing project?
Basically how are the bench policies at Cognizant.
It’s my 10th week on the bench. What should I do? I’ve reached out, networked, tried to utilise my existing network, done courses, etc. Feeling like shit atm.
I’m recurring on a client and am trying to get a change of pace. I’m afraid I’ll be sitting on the bench as a result though since I haven’t networked outside of my team much. Has anyone else gone through the same thing? Any advice would be appreciated
I need to get this off my chest: I started my new job with a consulting firm back in February 2020. However, on the second day of my job, at the client site, I had a huge lunch and as a result, I got the “itis.” I was sitting near the window where the sun was shining bright and I accidentally dosed off. People at the site noticed and told the higher ups about it. As a result, I was rolled off the project and client and was on the bench. I was laid off in April 2020. Still unemployed to this day.
New to the firm. Still on the bench after three weeks. Seems like each person is just sending me to someone else for work. Anyone deal with this at their firm? Should I be concerned?
I have a feeling my Engagement Partner wants me to quit the engagement. It's my 3rd week, but he's been nothing but rude, demeaning and unhelpful. Refuses to answer any of my questions and then berates and belittles me for not knowing the answers. He already threatened to "replace" me if I don't show adequate progress.
Roll off voluntarily or wait until he fires me?
What's the longest you've sat on the bench? For me it was almost 3 months and I got promoted that year. I don't have a need to ever use my vacation days....
How reckless is it to quit and have nothing lined up? Getting sick of this shitty project that I keep being promised I'll roll off of soon, but no end in sight. I feel like my only option is quitting
Planning to jump ship to escape a staff aug I’m not allowed to roll off. Any way to scout out opportunities at other firms to make sure I don’t end up in this situation again?
Hi, I've joined Accenture in April and I'm on bench and I wanted leaves for my marriage in May, whom should I get in contact with? And how much leave can I expect to be given as I need minimum 10days leave.
Has anyone ever been on the bench for such a long period that they’ve lost the motivation to continue and ended up resigning because of it?
Deloitte Federal: What's the bench like right now? Coming off of leave and wondering if there's crazy pressure to be staffed. Thanks! S&O if it matters
Anyone ever request to roll off an engagement or quit? Like you mentally and physically couldn’t work with a SM/PPMD anymore, but all attempts to roll off were blocked?
Any other firms experiencing layoffs in Toronto? How many weeks on the bench before a warning or layoff?
Why am I more exhausted when I am on bench? Working on three internal requests at the same time
