The H1B transfer process is just taking soooo long and the wait is painful. Had my interviews in Oct and got the offer only in December. Signed the offer end of Dec and they have still not filed my H1B transfer petition 😑 😒 Mentally checked out of my current job since December. How long will this pain continue....end of rant.

There is ongoing police activity and probability of getting your name in police record, which will impact your visa renewal. My parents are both immigrants. My mom was orphaned at age 7 and moved to the US after feeling like she had no future in her country. My dad won a visa lottery months before completing his economics degree abroad but came to the US for a better life. They both work hard and things have not been easy. Today I got to take them to a nice dinner to celebrate my first 6 figure salary. They said this is the better life they came here for. I’m beyond grateful.

It's not dry and dead out there. Started looking only 6 weeks back. Attended 3 interviews. Accepted one offer. Transfer approved in 3 business days. Joining Chase next week. Keep looking guys. I just went to each of the 'careers' pages.. Updated resume to match the requirements on each posting. Called out on resume that I need immigration sponsorship. Had a cover letter for each posting. Before that I spent money on getting a professional resume from Monster. Highly recommended. Good luck all.
