Ad agency designer desperately looking for an out but I have a possible new job opportunity. Here is my dilemma: Pros.... more money, no crazy client demands, pitches or decks or even prospective clients that will go nowhere (in-house), better benefits Cons.... this is a big one - it’s healthcare I’ve been at agencies with a range of clients for the past few years. Career suicide taking an in-house healthcare job? Especially if role focuses more on growth & performance over design?
Has anyone had to have a follow up to their anatomy ultrasound? I was told they didn’t get a good view of the baby’s heart and now I have to get a fetal echocardiogram. Anyone go through something similar?
Joined consulting to get varied experience, but I keep getting extended at client but on different projects. Client is great and projects are cool, but I’d never wanna live on this coast—
In real estate private equity, 5 years experience as asset mgr. Should I stay at a firm with zero brand name recognition (new boutique started in 2018 outside of a major financial center with 750m AUM) where I am the main asset mgr as well as right hand man of the CFO but with 30% less than average comp. Or should I move to a bigger name with less responsibility/title prestige but with competitive comp and that brand name recognition? I plan to start my own firm in 5-10 years.
For moms in California - can anyone explain to me how the FMLA/Paid Leave works in coordination with EY’s sixteen weeks? It seems that all the new moms take 6 months and I’m trying to figure out how that works if we’re only given 16 weeks. My husband and I are currently waiting for an adoption placement so I have no idea when I’ll need to use it, but I’m hoping it’s sometime soon :) Since I’m not actually pregnant, asking these questions feels weird, but I keep reminding myself it’s okay. TIA!

I am interviewing with a company that provides equity as part of their compensation package. What would be acceptable equity reward for a managerial position for a 5b valuation startup with series C funding going public in 1-2 years? What type of equity is usually awarded?
When leading a team through a reasonably large process change (e.g. changing from non existent to… something), is it a better idea to adopt a Big Bang approach (huge change, but all at once) or through smaller iterative changes (over many months)? What are the pros / cons of either approach? And any suggestions for dimensions to keep in mind when deciding?
Is it just in my experience or are recruiters/hiring managers really reluctant these days to discuss salary bands for a given role? My logic for asking is to determine if I should consider a given role or pass if doesn't meet my salary requirements rather than continue additional interviews and find out later. Thoughts?
Client's team built a pretty deck to show their gaps, challenges, and key questions. I appreciate the effort, but I wish it was in excel.
Anyone have luck getting the Amex Platinum annual fee waiver or any other retention bonus? If so, any tips?
Has anyone left for a local firm and bounced back to top 10/big 4 or top 10? I've been interested in working at a local firm for some time, have an opportunity, but want the opportunity to get back to something larger if I learn I hate it.
How do you get better at interviewing?
No shame in this brag moment: My baby brother is going going to be an SEC football player!!
I work from home 100% of the time. Does Accenture help with costs of setting up a home office? Desk, extra monitor, speaker phone, etc.

Anyone try Dufl? Essentially you give them a set of dress clothes, they launder them, and ship them to whatever hotel you tell them each week. $99 a shipment. Maybe do it every other week?
