The last of my close friends just had a baby and while I’m happy for her, I admittedly feel really sad. Every one of my friends have either drifted away after they had kids to hang out with other parents or have completely transitioned their personalities into “mama bears” and thrown away every bit of their old self. I love kids, I love to spend time with my friends and their kids, but at times it’s challenging to relate anymore. I feel like I’m in mourning over my last close friendship…

My grandmother passed away recently, and I thought I would be very sad and cry, but I am not and I wonder if there’s something wrong with me. I was very sad and cried when she fell ill three years ago, but when she passed away I don’t think what I felt was sadness, more like emptiness... Is this normal?
