They will open up an investigation. It doesn't matter if she knows or not who it's coming from but I'm sure this would be a wake up call for her if she continues doing this to other people. Don't be afraid to stand up to her.
I work for ethics. They will help you the best way they can and you can even report the HR. Report it to Ethics & conduct. It is all confidential.
It sounds like you're at the wrong firm ;)
@PwC 2 - Its not about reprimanding it's about helping the OP get to the root of the problem. Not saying OP is not right but there may some additional facts and circumstances that are at play. Also not sure if the politics in the office but they can help get HR involved and if need be the partner. Overall it's about having some one in your corner and adding more validation to the argument.
Call ethics or switch teams
Talk to your coach about it.
@PwC 1 - my fear of callings ethics is that my HR person will hate me too. Last thing I need is another enemy.
@PwC 2 - my coach has been very helpful, but coaches don't have the power to reprimand other managers, that's HR's decision.
@pwc op why would HR become your enemy? Report it, it's their job to look into it.
I did report it.. a month ago.. they're super slow to resolve the issue. On top of that, I feel HR is taking the managers side simply bc she's higher up. The fact is, I have proof ON PAPER that proves the manager wrong.
@PwC 4 - I have nothing against my HR.. my problem is the manager only.
I would call the ethics and conduct line and report your issue. Are you working with her in an engagement ?
Not anymore, she kicked me off the team for BS reasons, that's why I'm hoping she gets reprimanded.
Honestly this happens a lot, if you have this on paper.. I would do it because it may affect your performance review.
Can you tell me what Ethics does after I make the call? Even though it's anonymous, it would be very obvious the call came from me as this is a unique situation in my LoS and market.
Y'all realize pwc 4 is trolling right
Ensure she gets reprimanded? You don't. You find another engagement, move on, and try not to piss everyone else off. Unless her dislike for you has to do with race, sex, age, refusing her sexual advances, revenge for you reporting a (legal) wrongdoing, or some other unlawful reason, HR probably won't do much.
@PwC 5 - What about the bad snapshot she sent me? I refuse to acknowledge it bc it's absolute bullshit. Plus, bc of her causing this whole situation, I haven't been utilized in over a month. So in the upcoming CRT, my utilization, performance tier, annual raise, and chance of getting promoted has all been affected because of her dumbass.
OP - This is the importance of having your coach helping you along with HR and possibly your relationship partner. What group are you in?
