The week of my wedding, my husband (PL SQL Developer 4 yoe) was laid off. That was a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I'm still bringing money in as a software engineer, but I'm looking for advice on how to support a partner who has been laid off. The company has this rule where we have to check customers' IDs if they are buying anything age-restricted (alcohol, etc.) I hate it because customers get super mad at me and one of them told me "if you think I'm too young then you're stupid and don't deserve to have a job." It's not my policy guys, it's the company. I tell people I would get fired if I didn't do this and they never believe me

Had an interview with KPMG (manager) for an FRM Consultant position about three weeks back, she mentioned that I'd be a great addition to the team and is excited to work with me but I haven't heard back anything since. On contacting HR I got the standard "we'll let you know" response.

Hi all - I'm looking for help defining our rating scale in terms of our company values. We rate on a 5-point scale of Unsatisfactory to Exceptional Performance. We rate against four company values and five competencies. It was easy to define the rating scale against the competencies, but I'm having a really hard time defining them for the values.
