Almost 4 weeks in and my status is still wrong. It was correct for the first ~1 day and then bumped down a level. Shouldn’t be hard as all my nights last year were SPG. This is ridiculous.

Has anyone gotten the $599 for 5 nights offer at the Sheraton Kauai? Sounds like a good deal given the normal rate like north of $400 a night. Or am I getting scammed? Lol

Arrived at a SPG property last week and had email confirmation and booking in the app but hotel didn’t have it - manager blamed merger IT issues, anybody else experienced this recently?

Recently joined a consulting firm and have a corporate AmEx now. I am planning on paying the $95 fee to get the points from corporate expenses. I also have only a chase sapphire preferred. Is it worth picking up a Gold or Platinum card to pool all the points in one place? I eat out a lot and mostly redeem points for statement credit or the occasiaonl hotel room (use Marriott). Don’t do a ton of personal flying. Thanks in advance.

I am currently well settled in Oracle ERP skill with good role but this Data Engineering role seems like good opportunity to transition to DE roles. Ridiculously beginner questions but: 1) is the max 401k ($19,500) that you can save per year including employer contributions? 2) hypothetically what happens if I set my contribution rate too high and don't correct it? Let's say I make $100k and set my rate to be 30% which would result in my saving to much. Are there safeguards against this or do I get penalized? Thanks!
