Recently had 3 rounds of interview, got confirmation on call that I have cleared the process.
Last week I got mail to share the documents.
Today I got call from them that my profile is dropped due to CTC issue.
There was no HR discussion round, I only shared my expectation with consultancy person.
I believe it was not too much considering market trend
Just wondering if it normal now a days that without discussing CTC or without giving any number from their side, they can just drop the profile?

Currently have an interview that requires a TS/SCI clearance, though it's stated in my resume that I currently have a Secret clearance. I did not directly apply for the job, but was contacted by a Recruiter. Did the Recruiter not read my resume or is this a negotiation point during the interview? Coming out of 8 years in the Army with just my current civvie career under my belt.

I had an interview last week. The interviewer asked me whether I was apply for other jobs as well & how it was going. After the interview I felt like I shouldn’t have disclosed so much information. I shared that I have been actively applying for other jobs but that I haven’t gotten many responses. And that in the meantime I’ve been focusing on developing myself (finished reading PMBOK, taking LinkedIn Learning PM course, etc). Should I have said this? Now they know I don’t have many options 🤦🏾‍♀️.

I am First time eligible for income tax slab form FY22-23. I can't invest much since I have so many family commitments. So only component I can use of 80C is EPF. So in order to get Tax Benefits. Can I send 20k per month to my parents who are not earning and generate a receipt and a avail full eligible HRA exemption? Is that possible and will there be any problem in future? If it's ok do my parents needs to show this income in IT portal since it's 2.4LPA? TIA.

Fiancé and I live together. He moved in after I was already here. I pay the bills & do most of the grocery shopping and he has communicated that he saves $X a month. Ugh dilemma. Help me make a decision. Just bought a house which is currently a new build in the dmv area.
