The quarantine is almost over - speaking for myself I will be going back to the office this summer. Sound off: how did you do against quarantine glow up goals? Gain/ loss?

Gain.

Hair grew out, lost some weight/got in better shape, finally made time to do some laser treatments to my face since I could recover without going out in public. Eating healthier, exercising more. Hot girl summer here I come.

I also spent a lot of time on self-reflection and got on Lexapro so I think I’m a generally better and more pleasant human to be around.

No interest in going to the office, though.

Dropped 20 lbs by learning how to actually eat, and I feel amazing. 💅 Funny enough, I just found out I’m pregnant, so by the time I get back into the office, I’ll prob be the same weight I was when quarantine started. 🙃 But that’s ok!

Gain. Got a 150% increase in income with a job switch. Bought two houses right before the market exploded. Doubled my net worth and an API was released allowing me to pick my start up aspiration back up.

Gains! Financially ✅ Health ✅ Put on 5 pounds of muscle from weight training and now have an ass to match my rack 🤷🏾‍♀️ . Also overall very content with my alone time 💕

I lost 20 pounds, grew my hair out, and did IPL on my face last summer to get rid of sun spots. I look and feel better than I have in years. I focused a lot on getting healthier during quarantine - both physically and mentally.

Better form than ever. Still not amazing, but I lost over 20lbs, have great cardio, straightened posture, strengthened core, improve hand eye coordination and balance. All Muay Thai.

Oh, and the food. I changed my eating habits. Whole foods only. Almost zero animal products. Lots of veggies and beans.

Gained 10 lbs as a new dad in 2019, gained another 10 lbs during the first half of 2020, but have lost 25 lbs since! Feeling healthier and stronger than ever. Enjoyed the time off of business travel to spend with our toddler. It has been a revelation and have never been happier.

Started doing spin classes to get cardio/sweat in every day, feel more clear headed.

Maintained my light weight, kept up with YouTube core workouts, bumped my Bouldering grade to around V6 finally.

Can’t really lose more weight without cutting muscle, so no comment on that.

Long curly male mane and while not at my weight loss goals, I developed other healthy habits like intermittent fasting and folding clothes immediately after washing (thanks Marie Kondo), which is a game changer. I got great face gains regardless of the weight for sure. Also, I stopped weighing often and I’ve always felt better and more consistent when I’m not tracking daily, weekly numbers. I do that enough at work.

Hi Fishes,
I am really looking for some serious advice to cope up with a cracked tailbone. I broke mine during a horse riding incident.

Now, I am getting seriously overweight, in fact, on the verge of getting obese, and this injury right now is pretty much killing the 2022 dream.

I do walk right now, oddly at a slow pace, for about 3-4 km each day. If there any kind of strength training I can introduce in my regimen to err not feel all so depressed with the way I am in for.

I grabbed dinner with a friend during restaurant week (first time in ages!) and completely blacked out/fell on the floor waiting for dessert. Medics who arrived said my vitals were fine. The only thing I did differently was have a couple glasses of wine (first intake since NYE). Has this happened to you and do you know the cause? I’m getting a full physical with blood work. In retrospect, I’m glad I was out when this happened instead of alone at my place.
