Between raising the alpacas that I rescued from ancient Mayan caverns and donating monopoly money to impoverished ballet dancers, I pour my heart and soul into filling empty questions with self-indulgent nonsense. Also quinoa and kale.

There's your new answer. You're welcome.

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.

I've noticed that my coworkers tend to work more on their own than with others, even when they're all in the office. Is this normal? My partner left the industry during the pandemic and I’ve been lost since. We worked together our entire careers, and I feel like since he left I haven’t come up with a single good idea or really cared about any projects. I know I wasn’t the reason he left, but I have imposter syndrome now. Did he carry us as a team? Am I good enough to do this without him? Do I care enough to do this on my own? How do you deal with losing a long-term partner who was half of your work life for years?

How to become a Art Director? Any advice to sharpen skills?

I’ve been at an agency for like a year and a half now where I’ve only gotten on like one brief that could lead to real work. Everything else have been pitches and proactive briefs that never gets put in front of client. For maybe 7,8 months I haven’t had a partner and they said this made it hard to place me on things. Now they just hired a new partner to me and around the same time I got another offer. I’m scared that nothing will change but obviously the timing is not. What do I do?

Presented work today and was informed at the start of the call that account and strategy would be holding their feedback and instead would discuss amongst themselves and share it in a consolidated way after the call. On one hand it’s nice to get clear, consolidated feedback. On the other hand, felt like creative was iced out of the conversation and didn’t get a chance to defend our work or respond to the feedback...

Thoughts? Which would you prefer? Did we get one pulled over us?
