The thought of logging on tomorrow makes me sick 😩

Returning from leave on Monday. What are some realistic boundaries to set with my team? Can I say no meetings before 9am or between 6-8pm? Also, what should the expectation be when my baby is sick and comes home from daycare? Do I work half a day and stay split duties with my wife? What have other people done?

My kids (under 5) are constantly sick and the rules lingering from the pandemic are making it even harder to send them to preschool with even a minor illness. We are seriously missing 1/3 of the childcare that we pay for and it’s affecting work performance. Any tips for managing this when both parents have demanding jobs?

Ladies, what’s your view on helping spouses’ extended family financially after marriage? Husband is the oldest of four kids and his parents have decent life savings. He thinks that he should help out if anything happens to his siblings and they need money, and it shouldn’t matter if his parents or other siblings are helping.
