"The traditional environment for success that most of us know in corporate America was created by the beliefs, values and behaviors of men with stay-at-home wives. It leaves out anyone who does not have the privilege of putting their work above everything else in their life—which is at least 64% of the workforce if you just look at dual income families."

Fully agreed, but I also believe in power within oneself to create a life that you love including work.
Not all workplaces have flexible benefits but unfortunately if you are a caretaker of children or parents that’s where your priorities will lie.
Women didn’t create the system but I encourage everyone to tap into as much agency as possible.

If enough people (not just women) stopped “playing the game” we’d all be a lot better off. Every minute you spend working to make someone else wealthy is a minute you take away from making your own life richer. Yes, we all need to work, to earn, to provide for ourselves and our families…but you only have one life, and that life is short. Make the most of it in whatever way makes sense to *you* and protect your boundaries fiercely - no one else can or will do that for you.
