The true gravity of this weekend didn’t hit me, a white kid from the suburbs, until I heard my black teammates talk on today’s call. Not gonna pretend to understand, but we hear you, and we stand with you all.

Same here. The weekend hit me hard cause I live really close to where the protests happened but listening to my black coworker this morning sharing her stories just struck me at a whole different level

Good. Can you share the anecdotes that got your attention?

Hey all,

My baby is measuring very big but doesn't seem to be coming on her own, so doctor wants to induce around my due date (I'm 39 weeks pregnant now).

Any risk factors I should take into consideration? Things I should make sure to bring up with my doctor ahead of time? This is my first baby.

Transferring to a very demanding account. Have to pick up from day care few days a week, leaving by 4 and I'm pregnant due in August. They don't know yet. Is this a wrong fit? I need job security.

Hi All,

I am 12 yoe, working at a very stable product based organisation (not NEC).
But I want to switch to a better role & compensation.

I got an offer from Thoughtworks GGN as a lead consultant. Being a mother, I have anxiety about joining TW, since it is service based.

1. Bcoz of the recession and hiring is not for specific project, is it the right time to join TW or is it risky w.r.t job security?
2. How flexible is TW for WFH or it depends on the client?
3. How is WLB?

Please help..

Have you tried any? Did it help? Affect your productivity? Which ones? tya!

Rant: I finally got a baby registry started and sent the link to family... and immediately was told all the things I need on there that I don't have (including things I'm opting to just NOT GET, like an electric pump - why is my nursing preference up for debate????). I hate it already. I'm tempted to take it down, buy it all myself and just tell people to start a college fund if it bothers them.

I'm 38, have had 4 miscarriages and the PRESSURE OF THIS PREGNANCY is unreal.

I got lucky and now have leadership that seems to care about my career growth, but I'm 1. a little overwhelmed taking over a new role from someone who went on parental leave earlier than expected and 2. not used to thinking outside my day to day job, happy to keep my head down and just produce good work.

most of what I bring up in these meetings are logistical or prioritization concerns but I feel like my manager is expecting a lot more from me.

Hey everyone!
I'd love to get your feedback on our subscription marketing service.

My partner and I created a cost-effective subscription so small / medium-sized businesses could focus more running their business and strategies without the need to hire in-house, manage multiple freelancers, or fight with agencies.

We do this with a proprietary Workspace so marketing managers can delegate projects, connect with our team, and download completed work / files.
