I am currently working in a small company as embedded system lead software engineer. I am not excellent but I am good at what I am doing.I joined last year with 13.5 lpa(all in hand) with 45% hike, after joining i realised it was a mistake as the culture was toxic. so I started looking for job from January onwards.After multiple trials I have an offer from endurance company pune. But the offer they are offering is less According to me just 25% hike(with variable).
Any suggestions on this

I've always operated off the standard that I would give any role a year. Meaning, if the job isn't what I expected or culture is a bit 'meh', I'll give it a go a year. I a 5th yearer and I feel that my work is sometimes not as good as my peers. Part of it stems from having a very broad practice (pe/vc work, listings, cap markets, M&A, gen comm and start-up work) and I’m a master of none. I went for an interview - they didn’t seem impressed by my experience; even asked me to consider going in house :( Where I am at, there’s little guidance & supervision, in part because I’m seen as mid-level. I am considering switching practice areas. I currently practice in personal injury litigation on the defense side. I have been in the PI practice in some way, shape or form for the last 9 years. However, I think it’s time for a change for me. I have always found trust and estate work to be interesting and would like to transition into that area of practice, on both the litigation and planning end of it. I am looking for guidance as to how to switch over. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What exactly do compliance attorneys do? Is it like litigation and contracts plus? Trying to get an idea of whether I could be good at it and should apply for a position. I’ve been at a new firm for a couple of months and feel incompetent half the time when I’m explaining something to my new boss. I’m a third year and am usually confident in my abilities, but I feel like a first year again and I’m unsure if it’s the new more specialized practice area, being uncomfortable in a firm where I’m the new kid, or if I’ve regressed practically. Someone tell me the discomfort of being new wears off semi-quickly.
