There are several children in my classroom who keep having tech issues. How can I support them without taking away from instruction time?

you don't want to lose them all to help one kid, so first, give the whole class an assignment and then attempt to help the student troubleshoot. All teachers have the cell phone # and a discord set up to speak with our IT team. If still can't be solved, give the student an alternative assignment.

Find a couple kids who are good with tech to help the student while you continue the lesson, then check back with them when you have a moment to make sure they didn’t miss any necessary instruction.

Ok…I’m curious. I pretty much have to beg, barter and steal to get supplies for my classroom. Do teachers in states with legal cannabis have this problem? It’s my understanding that sales tax from its purchase goes to schools, or is that all smoke and mirrors…No pun intended. 😉

Dropping this in a few bowls, sorry if you see it twice. I'm transitioning from teaching 8th grade mathematics at a public school to teaching a 7/8 self-contained classroom at a charter school. Any advice for teaching mixed grade levels or multi subject is appreciated: scheduling, classroom setup, subject order, behavior management, etc. I'm struggling to find my rhythm with only 6 weeks before kids return. Thanks to everyone for your commitment and time, enjoy your summer!

Which health insurance plan do you recommend for pregnancy and maternity care? Looking for switching during current open enrollment . From the Deloitte sponsored plans, narrowed down to these 3 - Anthem Bluecard PPO, Aetna Select, UHC PPO. I am currently enrolled for Anthem Bluecard PPO and looking for other best options, if any. Also, if I get pregnant in December and switch to any other from Jan, will that works or the new insurance provider might raise a concern to cover the expenses? TIA!
