Hi there, looking to make a career pivot into turnaround RX, i have 7-8 years of corp treasury and liquidity risk experience. Unfortunately i dont have the traditional valuation/modeling experience, but at my role we do conduct cash flow forecasts (not 13 week, think traditional bank liquidity stress testing cashflow forecast that is 1year), would hiring firms see any value with my experience?

A large part of my job involves building models or making reports that involve copying numbers from one document to another. Sometimes, if I get interrupted, I lose my train of thought and make mistakes in getting the right number. Nothing disastrous has happened, but I’m trying to figure out how to get better at not losing my train of thought when doing work that basically involves looking up numbers from various documents. Any suggestions?

Has anyone ever had to sign a non-compete? The contract I have in an offer has a clause that states I cannot go to a competitor for a 2 year restriction period following my termination of employment.
