There is this one car commercial of a Prius? Or another urban car brand driving over sand dunes and crashing in direct comparison to a Jeep or something? Does anyone know what car brand this is?

BLUF: Relocation doesn’t include breaking my current lease. Am I in the right to get that covered? Story below:

I want to brag on my kid, but I don’t want to embarrass him, so I’m doing it here. My college sophomore found out today that he ended up with a B in his accounting class - which is remarkable, given that he received a 50 on his first exam and a 70 on his second. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him work this hard - and I couldn’t be more proud. The grades that come easily don’t impress me nearly as much as the ones that are hard fought.

I am currently at a firm and received an in-house offer. Aside from main items like comp and big ticket benefits like PTO/health insurance/401k, what other items do I need to think about discussing/negotiating? For example, fees to keep bar licensure, professional association fees, CLEs, etc. I feel like there is so much on that end I currently take for granted being covered at my firm. Anything else I should consider?

Is anyone at a job they really, truly enjoy that also pays competitively (and has good benefits)? In my experience, I haven’t found anything that satisfies both. Looking for practical advice on improving my attitude to work.

So imagine an imaginary scale where 0 is the worst piece of work a studio could produce and 10 is the best possible outcome.

As an animator working in an agency, I normally end up involved in projects towards the end, so by the time I get my hands on a project I can add between 1 and 3 depending on how much effort I put in.

If a project is a 3 when I get it, how do I summon the energy to make it a 6 that I could to make a 7 a 10?

Someone please let me in on what’s going on with pharmaceutical advertising. Why is it the dumbest, most juvenile shit on television? It’s all horrible. My guess is you guys are getting paid a lot to work with a bunch of know it all, god complex doctors. So you compete to see who can create the biggest pile of shit on tv. Kind of the opposite of the One Show I guess. Please share because I cannot fathom how the dry eyes, eye drop commercial I just saw even got presented to a client.
