Like someone stated early, we learn school history from the perspective of the “winners.” So yes, it IS to push a narrative. One that shows many different people groups have fought back against the status quo, numerous times, because it only serves some while exploiting many.
Isn’t that the point of this whole thread? To learn the other side of the story?
Found this interesting as well

Ex: We learn about Columbus discovering the Americas, but not that he was sent back to Spain in chains for tyrannically ruling over the indigenous people
Well Columbus brought the Spanish empire great wealth.
Spanish colonization was significant throughout the Americas.
History is written from the perspective of the “winner”
Sadly, very true

A&M. Most schools are predom white. White will be a relative majority for long time... much larger than any single other group
Yes. Another example is that the most important events took place in Asia during the middle ages, as opposed to Europe as is commonly portrayed in western schools.
Something else we don’t know about from school:

Also, if anyone is interested, Slavery by Another Name by Douglas Blackmon is a pretty detailed account of the post/emancipation re-enslavement of Black people between the Civil War and WW2.
Non-American here. I had to educate my American teammates on the Tulsa massacre while we were discussing the Watchmen tv show. I knew of this ugly event well before I entered the US.
lol OP what do you think happened in the 15th century? That people were having a fair trial then paid a fine for stealing things?
Jeez.. these things were just standard practices. You can be sure that any of the historical leaders did some barbaric things you can’t even imagine, and that’s valid for all races.
Unfortunately you can say this same thing about most historical depiction.
This includes:
-Religion
-Any historical empire
Where are you finding predominantly Caucasian schools in America? Are you aware of the demographics of the u18 group?
I went to a relatively poor, majority white working class school
Our district was directly adjacent to a very poor, majority African American school
It is somewhat improved but even now, remains a clear illustration of racial segregation, gerrymandering and red-lining
