I recently saw someone post here about the AIRS by ADP Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter program and it piqued my interest. Has anyone else done that certification and would give it a thumbs-up or thumbs-down?

My work is highly focused on inclusion and today, while driving through the park, I felt bad for laughing at a group of larpers. They have nerf combat gear, too. I tried hard not to be insensitive to them being their true selves but i laughed … hard! And now I feel bad for laughing at them.

Something completely out of the blue has happened to me. I just onboarded with a company on Monday. I accepted the role three weeks ago after interviewing with and considering three other companies—- one of which was FAANG. I never heard back from FAANG and assumed I didn’t get it, until today. They called me and made me an offer. I really, really want to take the job, but I just started with my new company four days ago and on top of it negotiated a higher salary.

Tomorrow is my last day and I am mentally checked out. My team is trying to bombard me with last minute work and questions that they know will be very hard to get done without me.

How do you all deal with internalized racism. I am proud to be black however the past few years I have lived and worked in places that are all white. I have experienced all sorts of aggression, racism, abuse you name it as I was the only one. It seems that since I didnt have a proper outlet to release all of this I have internalized and am now projecting this. I have moved now to a more diverse area but I am still struggling a lot
