I waited on my offer letter for 5 days and then reached out to the hiring manager to let him know that I hadn't received it. Come to find out HR had an emergency and was unexpectedly out of the office for a week. I ended up receiving it the next day once HR was back in the office. So it's probably just a hold up from some unexpected circumstance. Try to be patient even though I know this waiting period can be stressful. Congratulations!!
Keep following up and keep looking.
I was told once I would be getting an offer. Then 1.5 wks later told to apply to a new job. Was a different role that they opened to give me 10k more.
You never know.
Mine took like 2 weeks because of sign offs from the parent company, a bunch of HR folks etc. I wouldn’t be worried about 3 days but they should be keeping in touch with you about it and where it stands.
Does this engender second thoughts on the organization?

Keep on looking. Until and when you get that official letter in your hand there’s nothing. I have this funny feeling they’re stalling because there might not be any money in the budget to hire you…
