They wouldn't have done this unless there was more than just some "side effects" would they?

Not sure why they’re pulling the vaccine, but this article does a good job of explaining what’s going on and why the data doesn’t support that the vaccine is dangerous.

Also says 30 cases of blood clots out of the millions vaccinated is MUCH lower than they would expect in the general population.

If you're thinking there's some secret information they're holding back, you're going to be disappointed. Public perception is rarely fact based unfortunately. So govt entities have to make it appear like they are going above and beyond to ensure safety. In reality nothing has changed.

Are you insinuating a conspiracy? Drugs get pulled all the time if side effects outweigh the benefits. In this case all the vaccines were knowingly rushed, and there are alternatives that are both safer and more reliable than this one. One of the side effects here is blood clots, which are extremely dangerous, and sufficient reason to pull a drug or vaccine from general use.

like

PS1 others in this thread said there weren't many notable side effects and with blood clots there were only 30 cases out of idk how many million. You're saying that's sufficient reason to pull a vaccine?

Don’t worry OP, the microchips are still in the rest of the other vaccines... 😂

I want a vaccine too but I wonder why entire countries are shutting down the use of certain vaccines, and I don't expect them to tell you or me why. I guess that makes me an antivaxxer/trump supporter along with countries like Germany VP1?

17 million doses of the AZ vaccine have been given so far. 30 cases of clots have been detected. I’d think there would have been even more people with clots in that universe.

Also, Europe seems to be sabotaging their vaccination efforts for no reason. It’s not like their rollout is super fast

like

Exactly - I’d like to know what the typical probability and occurrence of blood clots within a population this size with similar characteristics over the same time period would be - because looking at the data... 30 in 17 million over a few weeks time seems insignificant to be able to prove any causation.

Meanwhile, who knows the incremental deaths of COVID that may be avoided in a population of 17 million unvaccinated ca vaccinated in the same timeframe.

like

Yep the primary side effect is Brexit and Article 16 of the Good Friday Agreement.

How/why are people defending this 😂😂 you can’t question the vaccine without people calling you an anti vaxxer/conspiracy theorist these days and it’s insane

DTM1 I agree with all of that - but for now the immediate issue is getting over this current urgent health crisis

Well, none of the US vaccines are FDA approved, because they have not achieved the burden of proof for approval. Sooooooo, welcome to public facing human trials. It’s very simple.

Ah fair, sorry for going a bit on a rant there. I too would not visit Nova Scotia outside of summer or Christmas lol.

It’s not just these 3 countries, 15 other nations also suspended using this vaccine. I wouldn’t say that looks particularly good

Not explicitly in the EU D1, so they don’t have to follow the EU decision if they don’t agree with it

OP- Did you read the article before posting this?

Any advice for asking to work from home?
I started my job just over a month ago and the one day a week I work from home I absolutely love. I have an hour commute to the office all other days and I'd love to even just get one more day at home. My manager is not aware of my adhd and I have crippling fear and shame around it so I'd rather not tell him. The office environment I'm in is honestly any neuroduvergent's nightmare. I know it's probably wrong to not tell him but I don't want any judgement.

Honest confession: my life pre and post-covid was pretty much the same. What can I say? I'm a homebody!

I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone. Is this something I should even consider? I miss my patients and some of my coworkers and the pay is better, but I don't feel like I would really be welcome to come back.
