Got an offer for “Business Analyst II” at a market research company, that makes $300m in annual revenue. They offered $115k base, location: NYC, no sign-on bonus at the moment. Suggestions on negotiating the offer? Would I able to ask for $135k base or is that too much a leap? I’ve heard from a former colleague that bonuses are only 2-3%. I’d also like a 10% sign on but I’m afraid asking both $135k base and sign-on would make me seem too demanding. Also how does one ask about stock options?

Tbh I think it may have auto-populated from another application session. Fault of my own, I breezed through those generic prompts when applying. Question is, how much wiggle room do I realistically have from the original numb. I filled in vs. asking for much higher? Is there a way to come back from this?
