Does MBB, Strategy&, LEK, ATK etc allow rotational programs in different countries (London, UK, etc)? How competitive are those rotations to get into?
If you got two offers, one at an MBB firm and the other in PE (buy side, lower MM) which would you take? I acknowledge they’re different fields but I have two offers and don’t know which path to go down. Asking for personal opinions.
Anyone been able to successfully go the MBB route and be there for family / kids? Or any thoughts on intentionally avoiding the path to have WLB for that reason?
Leaving MBB after 1 year 5 months. Too short?
For those Tier 2 folks that left for MBB, what has been the difference so far? Will you advise others to do it, especially if doing great at T2? If your goal isn't "partner", does this change the DMP?
For the young wondering IF they belong in BIG 4 or MBB Baby you rock... https://www.instagram.com/tv/CJ7hUeMB3p7/?igshid=t4jzxftcfp80
How good is your firm at helping you to acquire new technical skills and business knowledge? I am at a big four, and there is 0 appropriate technical training. I have to pick up stuff on the go and honestly feel like an amateur, just pulling solutions out of my ass..I hate to look back and realize how I could’ve produced better quality work. Is MBB like that, as well? Also, most managers and higher are so abstracted from tech that I don’t even know a single good expert to ask for advice
Started at a T2 consulting firm not too long ago. Worth switching to MBB to break into PE?
At what level in MBB do you specialize in an industry? Engagement manager? Also is it really up or out even as a partner?
From talking to students at multiple M7 schools, it seems like all of the BB/MBB/FAANG companies recruit at most if not all of the schools . So if you're planning on recruiting for one of these, is there really a major difference in career opportunities between each school? Asking because it seems like some schools are specifically known for finance vs consulting vs tech, but if the companies are all recruiting at all these schools, the differences don't seem as pronounced to me.
Anyone else here feel like joining a tech company or startup more than joining MBB. I mean mbb is super prestigious and all but it’s not the long play for me

Planning to move to a EU country around summer 2021. Anyone who is a non-EU citizen got a consultancy job in EU countries can share your experiences. 1. How long it took to find a job ? 2. In what practice you got offered a job for ? (Such as technology or risk or IT etc) 3. Did you get offered a job by boutique consultancy companies or sticked with Big4 and MBB ? 4. How was the attitude of HR to you considering the fact that you were a non-EU candidate ? 5. What would be your hints to share ?
What are the big differences between MBB and Strategy&/Parthenon? I am new to consulting and people are giving me crap for turning down BCG and joining Big 4 strategy.
What are the consulting firms that have good PE practice other than MBB, Parthenon and LEK?
Who has transitioned from MBB to Private Equity? What is the pay difference and would you do it again?
For people who have switched from Big4/Tier 2 consulting firms to MBB, what's the reason you made that switch? Also, how are you finding consulting at MBB better than your earlier consulting gigs? What according to you, is the selling point for the tier 1 consulting firms?
Accenture AI, Big 4, and MBB which one is the best consulting company for Data Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer role? Thanks.
Thoughts on Insight's Onsite team? The role seems identical to the DD cases that MBB firms do
Thoughts on ad agency diversity data, now that it’s being released? “Across the entire (Havas) organization in the U.S., 6.11% of employees are Black, 10.8% are Hispanic or Latino and 9.66% are Asian.”
Do we need to use a Personal/Vacation day when getting a new computer at EY? Thanks in advance!!
My wife is starting a full time job after 2 years. I’ve been paying all the expenses since we’ve been married. We each have our own separate accounts and a joint account. Her salary will be around $50-$75k. We agreed she needs to contribute to the expenses and I was thinking that starting off paying half the rent would be reasonable ($1,500). Maybe put that amount per month into the joint account and then she can do what she wants with the rest? Reasonable? How do others handle expenses?
Overheard some new consultants talking about expenses of a few thousand dollars and how cuh raaayyy zayy high their expense report is..... so cute
What are some remote jobs a person with 5 YOE in HNWI tax can get? Sick of timesheets, don’t want to work over 40 hours, and interested in switching over to an accounting role.

If you are currently in school, there is no point in applying for student loan forbearance right? Since you’re not expected to be making payments anyway?
What things do MBB firms look for when deciding to promote someone from BA/AC to associate/consultant?

BCGers: asking for a referral! Will DM details as needed and based on our conversation. This is a request for the Consultant level.
Cross posting this but could use the female perspective — Got a really substantial (~40%) mid year raise after I brought in a basically unsolicited competing offer from one of our peers. My firm typically only adjusts salary on an annual basis in March, and I’m pretty worried I’ll see a smaller than normal annual raise this spring to “make up for” my out of sequence mid year raise. Any advice on advocating for myself to ensure that doesn’t happen?
Does anyone else feel out of sync when they are back home from the client site? Like shouldn't it be the other way around?!

What’s the average pay and sign on bonus for a risk and finance consultant at Accenture?
I have a case of FOMO I’m trying to navigate lol. One of my friends from college just told me she’s getting married in a few weeks, but I haven’t gotten the invitation. We are pretty close and we regularly call each other. I also learned that people whom she said she is not close are actually invited to the wedding. On one hand I’m trying to calm myself that she might be limiting attendees due to covid, but it’s not a great feeling. How else should I think about this?
