You may also have overworked yourself. Drink plenty of fluids and just monitor your temp. It’s only really dangerous when it starts to affect your lungs/breathing

Hey there, I just finished recovering from a confirmed case of coronavirus. Please drink plenty of water and force yourself to eat at least a little something. Don't over-exert. Fever reducers like ibuprofen are totally fine, don't believe the hype. Feel free to DM with any specific questions.

Thanks for sharing :)

The thing is, even if you have the virus, there isn’t much they can do for you unless you are in severe condition and need ventilators. It’s risky even to go get tested as you may get exposed from others. If you can manage your symptoms at home, that is the ideal case scenario. (I believe I had the virus a couple months back, I had an unbearable severe dry cough for weeks but no fever. Symptoms can vary. ) Buy a humidifier if you don’t have one. Take 5,000g of Vitamin C and Zinc.

like

Sounds like you had....a cough.

got the same canned answers, stay at home. didn’t even say go here to test

That’s what zombies are. They are just out looking for a test and hope you have one. “Hey! Over there! He looks like he might have a test!”

Roughly 10% of people with covid like symptoms actually have it.

OP - couple of things to try out: 1. Take steam 2-3 times per day and try to clear out nasal passage ways 2. Drink hot water or green tea and clean out the food and digestive pathways If you have any respiratory distress, you need to see a doctor. Also, do not take ibuprofen for fever management. Good luck, hope it’s noting more than stress/overwork.

Thanks - so far my symptoms are pretty mild - light fever and body ache ... Did talk to the doctor though

Don’t worry guys trump says this is just a flu

Thanks D1 I sure feel can manage it at home. So far it’s pretty mild. And they won’t test so hope to get better soon and update you guys. Stay safe

are you still working op?

Yep have been able to so far ... but if it gets worse then will have to find a backup

Very anxious about the rest of this year. My partner who I live with lost his job due to Covid earlier this year and hasn’t been able to find another one. He’s running out of savings because there hasn’t been another stimulus package and I am having a hard time getting through the days because of this added stress on top of my job. I can’t share with him how burdening this all feels— it’s like I’m suffocating.

I was swarmed with work in June and until 10 days ago, now everything's gone silent again. I'm guessing it's directly related to the COVID uncertainty (e.g. 2nd waves and all). Until we have a vaccine we won't be making a lot of money, I guess. I'm on track to bill 1750 hours this year if I'm lucky.

Need opinion.. am I screwed?? Admission officer from LBS reached out for a quick 1:1 after seeing my interest. I scheduled an appointment for today but had to cancel yesterday last minute more than 24 hours before because my moms surgery was moved up due to covid so I had to take care of her. I explained I had a family matter and rescheduled for next week. I just got an automated email that my appointment was canceled with no reasoning 😭

Is it ethical or safe for a fully vaxxed person to fly after confirmed, close exposure to covid during the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend? Does that travel pose a risk to others? Should they voluntarily quarantine for 14 days?

I have no kids and I am looking to maximize savings. Any advice? Thanks!
