Anyone here in IB restructuring willing to share tips and good resources to use to prep for an upcoming interview? I don’t have IB/finance experience but took a modelling course on wallstreetprep. Also, I am planning on studying the HL case study and read the interview guides on restructuringinterviews.com. Lastly, If you can share what the interview was like for you, that would be appreciated. TIA

No you’re not crazy. It’s called instinct. Trust it.
We spend so much of our waking hours at work, it should be for a company you’d enjoy & be proud of.

I’ve spent some time in Silicon Valley. There are very few Black people key decision making roles and overall.
I think OP’s concern is valid. Walking away is an easy out. The real work is to show up and be a part of company that has enough influence to shape the views of society.
Facebook book is a powerful force, and I believe people with good intentions should ALWAYS be at the table.
Ultimately OP. It is your decision.

I don’t believe the solution is to walk away from the table. We need good people at the table.
You gotta be able to sleep at night.
I don't have an opinion one way or the other, but if you do decide to decline, I hope you'll consider letting them know the reason why

Go with your gut
I literally just declined an offer there. Go with your gut.
Depends on your principles, goals, strategy to get there, and what the role is. All should be aligned.
I would get the job first and then weigh options.

🤔 perhaps you should drop out if you feel like this.
Not sure what position/function you’re applying to, Interview #3 could still be pretty early in the process.
Doubt your lone decision/ rationale for dropping out will mean much or anything to the recruiting team and/or FB as a whole.
I’m sorry OP. There’s a now tinge of arrogance at least prudeness.
If somewhere between your willful and voluntary application you now feel like this. You should drop out.
I think several people on this bowl will be gracious to have the same opportunity. No need to drag it out if you made your decision already.
You're not crazy. Losing a good candidate would sting them. Then again, don't turn around later and be mad that finding a FAANG exit is so hard. Plenty of people, maybe including me depending on the role, would love to have that interview opportunity.
PM1 - I say buzzwords because that’s what they are. Very few teams and companies actually are making strides in hiring & retaining BIPOC. Right now it’s still a PR move to seem like they care.
