Thinking about accepting a job offer, workload would consist of half EPLI and half private clients, even though it is half EPLI is it still a good opportunity to break into L&E?

Depends on your class year … my experience has been that firms significantly over sell the lack of EPLI work so that if they say 50%, it’s much more likely that it’s 75%.

like

This is very true. Even more like 85 EPLI and 15 private.

like

Also depends on the reputation of the firm.

Big 4 or ID with a L&E group?

Agree with A2 - my experience has been that EPLI are generally the same as private client but without the same type of client relationships / sophistication of clients. It’s still great experience and definitely useful when transitioning to a non-EPLI group

How much could expect as a salary range for an SAP FICO Consultant with one of the big 4 or any other major accounting firm in western Canada (Alberta)?

The job posting says "Consultant/Senior Consultant"

Best exit options from management consulting? I’m currently a consultant at Accenture in their Strategy & Consulting practice. Debating on just switching to another consulting firm or going straight into industry and having more WLB. Any experience or advice would be helpful 😅

Are there any agencies that provide good work life balance, with good pay and that do good work. Or is it just that classic case of you need to punt one to get the other two. Or in some cases punt two to get one….

My company was just acquired by a private equity firm. We’ve been around for 25+ years and have been a public company. They say “business as usual” for now, and I feel like the product I work in is pretty safe. I also received direct, positive feedback from the company’s COO surrounding my leadership. I recognize there can be positives and negatives to this type of acquisition, but I’m curious if anyone has any tips, feedback, personal experiences, etc. they can share?
