There's a lot to unpack there!
I'd start by doing a financial analysis. How much lower could you afford to go and feel comfortable with your living costs. Not the dream life, but what you need to live on.
Then you could do some self reflection on what really matters to you in work and in life. You can reflect on your values, your interests, and your goals. This will give you insight into how important money vs. feeling fulfilled and doing work that aligns with your values is to you.
Happy to suggest reflection exercises if helpful!
Many thanks!
Please don't do it. Your experience matter and you should try and take advantage of the skills you have acquired thus far and make them transferable and relevant to the new career. You'll be surprised your soft skills are relevant and can be difficult to teach or unlearn but the technical skills can be taught/learnt and require comtinuous honing. So don't settle for less.
Depends on which path you’re changing to and what stage in your career you’re currently at.
