Hello Fishes, I’m interviewing for a senior program manager role at Amazon and HR asked me my total comp expectations. Being new to tech I really don’t know where to start. I don’t want to short change myself or reach too high. I’m a Consulting SC at D with 10 YoE (experienced hire from government) making $130k now. What I’ve seen online is a massive range from 150s into the 300s. This is a non-tech role. Any insight as to what’s appropriate is appreciated!

I spent two years freelancing and landed my first full time position in April! Currently I provide EHR support for roughly 200 plus clinical employees (providers, a laboratory and supporting clinical staff) alone. I also manage the iPads given to all clinical staff (hardware troubleshooting repair, purchase &EHR software). I also train new hires. I currently make 68,000 annually.
