Thinking about getting an MBA in a few years. Name your extracurriculars / achievements (or great ones you’ve heard from others).

I have been in conversations with a couple companies about new positions that they’re considering me for. I have built relationships with and respect them highly, but am unsure of my future plans - am strongly considering grad school in the fall. Is there a way for me to let them know gracefully and ask if they’re still open to working together? I feel pretty sure about grad school but nothing is set in stone and I want to be transparent without shooting myself in the foot. Thanks!

Hello, I am a junior business administrator working in advisory operations. I have been with the company for 6 months, and was employed along with 2 other colleagues. I have picked the job up really fast and am even doing some “extra curricula’s” I really love my job. However I have recently found out I am being paid the same as an apprentice on my team, I usually do at 3 x the work he does whilst also doing my Cert CII. It has really disheartened me and I feel I should be earning more money

I am from Oregon I have been at my place of work for 9.5 years. I am a CMA. With this company I have been a Lead MA, Scheduler, Float Lead, surgery assistant. Basically the go to girl and been there done that. Currently I am Mohs Hisotech. I went to go ask my company for a rise and was instantly denied before I could ask for a raise. I make what I need to make. I make $28.78 and I know others make $30-$31 within the company. What should I do?

Started welding around 9 years ago. Continued at my local community college for my associates degree, jumped into being a welding tech. Then continued for my bachelors degree. Now I’m a welding engineer and teach part time at the community college I initially went to. AWS Certified Welder and CWI. Making good money in my early 30s. Can’t stress the trades enough, especially welding because I LOVE IT.

Hi Guys, I've been working as a salesforce developer for 2 years now and thinking of switching to a PMO role. Is there good career growth? Are PMO's in demand? What do they do exactly? Would the experience be helpful to become a program manager in consulting or Tech post MBA?

How did you get into your area of law? I have been licensed for 5 years and I still don't know where I ultimately want to be. I started as a line attorney and after 3 years, I moved to a non-litigation position working for the state. I feel lost. I have thought about getting MBA to compliment my JD. I was a good litigator but I had trouble turning off my brain and being present with my family when I was a litigator, so I don't think I would want to go back.

So anxious about upcoming CFA exam can't even sleep.

I have a post-MBA offer with Accenture Strategy and I'm seeking advice on whether I should pursue this offer, or if I should continue to recruit for MBB (which may open more doors/opportunities). I previously worked 4 years at Deloitte Consulting.

When did you know you were “ready” or you knew it was time to go out on your own and start a solo practice? What things should I consider before taking that step? How hard is it? Many might not (including me) be very good at DS/Algo but strong in domain knowledge, design patterns etc.

Thoughtworks is one such company two don't focus extremely on DS/Algo.

Seems like the MBA for GRE class offers one more class and claim to focus on the “more advanced” math topic. Is it worth it, or just something I can learn on myself from regular GRE class?
