Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

I went through a lot of back and forth on a nice coat. I ended up with one from Eddie Bauer that was closer to $300 (on sale). Has kept me 100% warm in sub zero windchills. It’s really not worth the $900 for a brand. Just find the right density of down.
I’m a big fan of EB too. The quality and fit is really nice

🤣🤣 have a better idea... buy a Columbia or any number of coats that will work just as well and either burn or give me the remaining $500

There are many that are good... Columbia, LL Bean, North Face, Patagonia, 100’s of other brands which aren’t popular and can be found at Marshall’s or Nordstrom Rack
Camosun is somewhat cheaper. But you get them at much discounted prices in outlet sometimes. Not sure why you are going full price
Just get a Patagonia dude
Love pattie g
I support. Although, I’d maybe wait till a sale. They don’t seem to vary their models year by year too much, so you could get something similar from a Sierratradingpost or other discount spot.
FWIW I still use a hand-me-down arcteryx my dad gave me 10 years ago...and he wore it for at least 5 yrs before that. Still worked great in Rochester NY last winter.
I have the therme parka which is very similar. I feel it was a great investment and something I’ll have for 10+ years. Go for it!
I have a therme too and big fan. You can get it for around $400
Still better than a goose
Canada goose tortures animals.
Also, if it’s a concern, Arcteryx animal welfare standards are better than Canada Goose.
Get it if you want it. If you don’t use it for it’s intended purpose (outdoor recreation) and just wear it to walk the dog and keep warm between parking lot and grocery store entrance you’d be better off with Eddie Bauer or Lands End, LL Bean, etc
