It’s a little Smokey out here these days, but in general my career opportunities feel a bit limited, but my mental and physical health has improved drastically after moving to SF from NYC.

Don’t unless you’re going to Goodby. Not many great account opportunities out here.
If you’re into product design and heavy digital marketing working with tech brands and startups it’s good. If it’s a traditional advertising art director you’re after - there’s Goodby but not much else.
I’m thinking of doing the opposite, SF has become a dump. Also unless you go tech, Goodby’s the only option

Shout out for mcgarry. We bought a huge digital agency and over 200 people on the Presidio. INTEL Microsoft Clorox. Dole. JUniper. And winning tons of new biz. NEw CCO from VML just moved out there. The HR woman is amazing.
