How long is normal to be on bench?
I constantly get talked down in this new team, I hate everything about this project and I can’t take it anymore. I am a single mom and I am very depressed out of this situation. I am about to quit right now, I am all in tears and don’t know what to do. I always try my best and feel like nothing is good enough. I can’t have insurance for my baby, what should I do 😭😭
Hi All, Am a developer mainly working with SQL and I want to move to AWS (devops), so I started to learn & practice few tools such as terraform, saltstack, prometheus, etc. But I do not have hands on a live project, any ideas if companies would take in beginners in AWS ? Even though there are cloud projects in my domain it is a bit difficult to get into those projects as my lead & manager give me the standard answer "you're a critical resource for our project" :( Any advice guys ? YOE: 4.10
ACN peeps...I want to take PTO while on the bench. Is there anyone besides CC/TFS that I should notify?
Good morning everyone, any advice on how to pivot from a career in Accoutning to Project Management? Here's some background, 12YOE in public accounting, recent finished a tech project management bootcamp certification course and will sit for the PSM exam soon. Looking for roles in Associate/Jr PM, Implementation Consultant or BA. Any advice will be appreciated.

Ever see a flight to a vaca destination across from your client and say fuck it and take it?...I did it today, may get fired but oh well
That awkward moment when your client whips out an electronic cigarette and starts puffing away mid presentation.
Hi folks, While resigning, should I talk to my TL first or should I talk straight to the SM of my service area. Also, I want to know if we can negotiate for early relieving (say 1 month) while on bench.
What’s the TC for Client Solutions Manager at Tik Tok? Also any real insight on the type of interview questions they may ask?
Working a large global team and looking for an efficient way for the client to consolidate multi-market feedback. Anyone have any recos? Want to get ahead of building something so it can be rolled out before hand.
Struggling with JE’s for earnouts paid post-acquisition. Amounts were paid out to former owners in a prior period. I think the entry was Dr. accrued expense; Cr. Cash. Now it’s sitting in accrued exp, so I asked why and the client says it was wrong and is reclassing now by Dr. Investment in Sub; Cr. Accrued Exp. (Investment in sub rolls up into current liability.) Does this make sense? I’m so confused about what this should be.
Two weeks since I rolled off an engagement, more trips to the gym and eating healthy. Muscles are popping up and I feel great. Will this last?
First time being sick on a client site. I would pay to be in my apartment instead of this hotel room.
I just received an offer for a role at Meta, and I’m curious if anyone has had success negotiating for more equity. I have no problem negotiating salary, but I don’t want to bother if the equity is a set amount for the role.Facebook (Meta)
Anyone know of a high quality personal trainer? Someone that will tell you what to eat and what workouts to do to hit your fitness/aesthetic goals…No virtual/zoom bs or group classes
Left Booz last year to work for one of the beltway bandits. Culturally this is not a fit and I'm looking to quit. While I don't plan to go back to Booz or a Big 4, I'm considering a non technical role with a tech company in the DC or Reston area, preferably in partnership, BD or sales. How bad does a gap on my resume appear to recruiters and hiring managers? Any advice is appreciated.
What’s the average salary for an rpa consultant? I just started my career with RPA with 3 years of experience in a different technology and currently make 90k. Is that normal? If not I can perhaps
I’m confused. I was furloughed from a regional firm, and I’m scared of being laid off. I have an offer from a small cpa firm and an offer from a mid tier firm. My goal has always been to join b4, and I’m going to try when the hiring freeze (HF) is lifted...but what should I do right now? 1. Stay at regional, apply to b4 after HF 2. Take mid tier offer, apply to b4 after HF 3. Take small firm offer, apply to b4 after HF 4. Take mid tier offer, become senior, and then apply to b4 2 years later
What are your thoughts on negotiating a salary for an internal promotion? My boyfriend thinks that I absolutely have to negotiate, but I’m inclined to just accept the first offer... am I doing myself a disservice?
I'm currently in biotech as a program manager, and I want to jump to consulting so that I can land in corporate strategy/BD or potentially commercial strategy / new products planning. What's the best strategy to get noticed by MBB outside of their more common recruiting pathways? I have a master's in business, biochem PhD, and ~3 YOE in a large cap biotech. I've connected with people here from life science specialist firms, but I want to know if shooting for MBB is realistic.
Keep hearing that most exits in LCOL cities will take a payout if you’re a PL, but that there are a lot of roles that are remote, job market is hot, etc. so that most PLs are getting a pay bump. How do you reconcile these two?
Can anyone provide some insight on what it’s like to work in the legal department at a FAANG? Very curious to learn more about comp, WLB, types of matters, etc.

Is it worth making the move from EY Tax SM3 to KPMG managing director? Is this a lateral move? What salary should I expect (MCOL)?
Debating if I should go for a promotion that a bunch of people are saying I should go for. Just wondering if it’s a weird time to do it since the higher paid you are, the bigger the target you tend...
