i read an article that it's important to take off your shoes before you go in the house.
I'm intending to immediately wash my clothes & shower - My principal was talking about changing in her garage. I'm also not going to brings things home with me to grade (hopefully this works). & disinfect my lunch bag daily.
I live in an apartment but it’s in a corner of our building so I plan on taking my shoes off outside of it and stripping down before I get inside, tossing everything in the wash, then jumping immediately into our guest shower :/

I was advised to do the exact same thing by my PCP. She said the vuris can be on your skin, clothes, & especially yours shoes.

I interned with a microbiologist and he said to spray your shoes with rubbing alcohol before getting in your car. Use at least 50% straight with no additives and it will kill everything. That's all I use in a small spray bottle for hands, shopping carts, and anything I have to touch. Wash hands with soap and water as soon as you get home. This has been my weird life forever, so no change with this virus. For my house and classroom I use 1/3 cup bleach in 1 gallon of water in spray bottles to disinfect everything. Daycare uses this mixture to disinfect rooms when no children are in them and bathrooms between children. It's safe, I've used bleach water for over 30 years. Be safe everyone! :) ♡
