Amazon Hello All, currently I work as a L4 in Amazon and got selected for a L5 Program Manager (Non-Tech) role in a different team. Have an experience of 7+ years with a current CTC of 12LPA (excluding RSUs). What should be an ideal CTC for my new role and would it be negotiable? Any suggestions?

Yes. We got told no. The amenities are included in our rent and therefore have no “cost” attached to them to deduct. Our lease also has a clause that says management can close at any time for any reason.
Yeah check your lease so you know the language ahead of time and can maybe come up with a way to combat it. Worth a try like you said!
I know it's #firstworldproblems but we don't pay a separate amenity fee it's just built into the rent amount so seems unfair to continue paying for them when none are available
Also asked for a rent reduction and was told no as well. Even asked to waive the parking pass for the month and was ghosted
I negotiated my rent down 50% while NYC is on “pause”.
I was honest, I was humble, and I asked for help. I’m a freelancer and I don’t have an income right now. My landlord would rather I be a long term tenant (I’m a good tenant) and knows helping me now will help them later.
Be kind and be human. Talk to your landlord like a person and they will return the kindness. And if they don’t, they don’t.

I liked the notion of adding 4 months to the mortgage and suspending 4 months now(and letting it trickle down to rent). That and unemployment benefits should help almost everyone shouldn’t it?
