P1, the article above is pretty good at detailing it from tax and risk perspectives. Basically you can control the distribution of earnings, and you can eventually transfer the deed without paying taxes. I'm DEFINITELY not a tax advisor though so if you want to talk to an expert, I can put you in touch with my tax guy.

I bought 2 in last two years

SC1 - where did you buy those two properties? Mind Sharing specifics?

Those are great deals. Are they McKinney avenue or the city McKinney?

Are u using a propert management company? Any recommendations?

SC1 - I'm looking at something similar, do you have a throwaway email I can contact?

M streets

I have one in Coppell renting for $1550. 3 bed 2.5 bath. But I bought I a decade ago when I lived in Dallas so the price is a little irrelevant now. Using a property management company.

Also think about tax structure before you invest. Might want to set up a LLC. I wish I did but I have a better tax accountant now.

I do use a property management ... How much are you planning to invest ?

250- 300k. Are u able to pay off the mortgage with the rent?

D2 What advantages from a tax POV to setup LLC?

Tax Help!

Here’s the scenario; I’ve been offered a remote job for a company based in NYC. I currently live in Philadelphia. Can someone help me understand what my take home pay after taxes looks like?

For example, if the salary offer is $90k, what does my overall tax deductions look like in this situation? Gross pay and total taxes.

Thank you very much! I haven’t been able to figure it out on my own through reading, I appreciate the help.
