Thinking of doing a literal for higher pay. I’ve been in great projects with tons of exposure to clients and leadership, solid performance reviews, but looking for more comp tbh.

What city do you practice in? How many years of experience? Current salary? What setting do you practice in? What are the differences in pay between different settings in your area (ie. outpatient ortho versus home care).
Personally I practice out patient ortho in Rochester, NY making $65,000 annually with a good benefit package. 6 years of exp. And not entirely sure how much more I could make in home care/other settings.
At what stage in the interview process do recruiters typically initiate comp discussions?
Would you leave Big 4 for MBB, same salary?
dammit, no analyst bonus 😬
Citi salary? The job post says 5+ years of experience in compliance. I told the recruiter my minimum salary expectation is $150k. I have an interview scheduled but does anyone know the range? I don’t have a job grade to give or anything like that.
Can anyone speak to Permira’ growth team in Menlo? What’s the comp / hours like? Thank you!
When do we find out how much we get for Performance Based Bonus? And do we receive them in October or earlier?
For USI what is the cut off date of joining to be eligible for a hike and bonus for this year?
I heard from someone that for Assurance it is 4th March, for tax it is 28th Feb and for advisory it is 1st March. Is it true and these dates accurate?
Just fell off my chair... I think I’m going to live. But it made me think- if I broke stuff would I be covered by workers comp while working from home?
When is the appraisal cycle takes place apart from annual performance bonus in pwc india ?
I have 3 year experience working at Deloitte Consulting and want to move on to a Sales role and Career. I currently make $110K, is this feasible comp to make starting out in Sales?. How can I learn about comp in your industry?
Besides the comp question, are there any resources/forums/books online that anyone can recommend that’ll get me a good understand of what to expect out of a sales role, different sales roles, how to succeed, build career, etc. Im starting from 0
Is anyone struggling with motivation more than normal? I am at 110% for the year, doing work that isn’t mentally stimulating, for significantly less pay (COVID salary cuts), no support (again, COVID cuts), with a meager bonus program that can’t come close to making me whole at the end of the year. I’m grateful partners are sending me work, but I’m burnt out and struggling to see the point in this slog. Anyone else experiencing this or have tips to grind through?
When a recruiter gives you the range for the role and it’s somewhat below your target salary, do you pull yourself out of the interview process or keep going in hopes of coming out successful in the offer/negotiation phase? They mentioned being flexible.
Lookin to lateral to Europe (Luxembourg) from NYC. My wife and I are looking to move there potentially permanently but I think at min 3-5 years. Mostly for QOL reasons (not necessarily work hours wise but general ones). In any case, I was wondering how realistic that is? What are best ways to position yourself for it? What are the general salary bands? I assume it’s less than NYC biglaw?
Got an offer from a Tier II consulting firm with immediate Perm application vs. 15% higher salary from WITCH with no commitment on Perm process. Thoughts on who to go for ?
I hope all fishes are aware that deloitte comp statements are getting out in few hours and we will be overtaking this bowl for a few days complaining about what we got :) thanks in advance for your patience, come back next week!
Hi fellow 🐠! M&A IT Manager at Deloitte, MBA from a target school, with 10+ YOE in industry and consulting, looking to switch. Reason: comp is same as incoming MBAs. Other than the Big4, which other firms should I target? Never looked outside the Big4 before.
Looking to shake up the old wallet. Best credit cards for analyst-level salaries/lifestyles/travel reqs? Thanks ya'll.

Struggling with big time imposter syndrome, and it’s affecting my confidence. It’s gotten better over the years, but still ever present, and annoying. Any tips?
How do I deal with a colleague who keeps delegating his work to me? He tells me to confirm data when he has the same data set as I do. He says these activities will only take 5-10min, which is not always true. And if he doesn't like my validations he tells me to redo them. My validations are based on the data, so it won't change. He also makes me reach out to people below his level. He leaves me out when talking with people above his level. Where's the line between being helpful vs being used?
A question for any international fishes who have completed a MPP in the US.
I’ve got an offer but no financial aid/scholarships. There’s a good chance I’ll lose my offer if I try to defer and save more money. In order to go this year I’ll need to take out more than 100k in loans.
For anyone who has taken this route, is it something that is manageable in the long run or does it ruin your life?
Context - U.K. students are not offered support from the US government or our own - loans are private
How do you add social media work to a portfolio? I come from a design background and am prepping my resume and portfolio for a job change. I have all the statistics for audience growth and things like that, I’m just not sure how to best present it. Any tips?
Our nurse has an email group of our states school nurses that she can bounce ideas off, or ask questions etc. Is there anything like that for secretaries? Teachers are keen to share how they handle things in their classrooms, but every school does attendance, has messages that need to be relayed thru the day, all these things going on, I just always wonder how it's handled elsewhere. I took this position two years ago and I don't like "This is just how it's always been done".
