I find Miele works a bit better, but isn’t as sleek looking
Yup. It picks up so much cat and dog hair.

Definitely. I love vacuuming with my dyson!

It’s a good vacuum but if you have a budget to consider, having to settle for an average, cheaper vacuum isn’t the worst thing in the world. As a matter of fact, I have both....
True story: My vacuum broke so I bought a Dyson. My house cleaner, bless her heart, didn’t like it so I had to buy a second vacuum for her to use, for a fraction of the price, because that’s what she’s used to and that’s what she wanted to use.
I just want to make sure I’m getting the best deal. I don’t want to buy it and find a better deal a month later.

Yessss, so worth it

Get the v11

D1 is right. Depends On your living situation. I have family with 2 kids and 3 floors to clean so I opted for longer run time/increase suction power

Look at Costco, that’ll be the best deal you can get on a new one, so just pick the cheaper one
Sadly I don’t have a Costco membership. If you happen to know the price for the V10, please let me know. Thanks
Yes! Love it!

You’re not buying a vacuum, you’re buying your emotional attachment to the brand name. Think hard and consider if a cheaper vacuum with a fresh bag and/or filter honestly wouldn’t be able to do the same task. Maybe you’d need to pass the vacuum over the mess just one more time, taking a few seconds longer. Is the huge difference in price really worth it? On top of that, a vacuum cleaner is a status symbol that nobody will even see. I commend Dyson on their excellent branding, it has a huge effect on perception.

This is true in some ways. I went from a dirt devil to a v10. Truth is: Dyson is so damn well-made. Stuff like the parts don't just look like aluminum, they ARE aluminium... and they don't tack-on to each other, they click-lock together. So satisfying.
Suction power so powerful you will find it hard to move on the carpet on max power, you end up using med or min power. It feels solid.
It's the subtle difference between a herman miller chair and another office chair. It's the difference between a 169 GRE score and a 165. The difference between an MBA from a smaller, unknown university vs an Ivy. Do you want something that can check the box or do you want the best?
I love my dyson! My hubby got a V6 4 years ago and I thought it was an insane overpriced purchase. Boy was I wrong! Use it everyday till I killed it. Now have a V8 animal. Absolutely the best.
I have 2. And now I don’t mind vacuuming:)
Worth it until the V (yours +2) comes out and you can't justify the upgrade but still feel like something's missing in your life
I got a V8 from Rakuten (Ebates) for $200, been a year, works awesome.
It's a total gamechanger.
Yes. Dyson is dope
