My $0.02:
You don’t need to go 0-100 right out of the gate. Ease your way into performance vehicles gradually. There are plenty of fun rides in the $30k range with that many miles. Used BMW’s, Audis, Teslas etc. You’ll get an idea of whether these are fun enough and can go from there - the ultra high perf vehicles aren’t going anywhere.
Haha for you maybe..

If you can find a 2017 for $50k, absolutely money well spent and it won’t further depreciate like all other luxury brands. Highly recommend the brand and the driving experience. My recommendation is to only test drive what you can afford so you don’t experience what your missing! Base, S, GTS, turbo as the power can be slightly addicting.

Get a 911 instead unless you don’t have a second car to haul kids
Seriously gave this a consideration it wife does not drive manual. And I feel a car like that is truly experienced with a stick. That and the fact it is much more expensive so moving towards older models. Still - an awesome car though
For around 50K, I'd go with a new Tesla M3 or MY. Speed and technology is unbeatable for the price. And, there is virtually no maintenance since there is no engine (mechanical) and transmission, you won't be paying for fluid changes and tune ups.
I am guessing an oil change for the Porches is probably between $300-$500.

My brother has a 2018 Panamera 4S e-hybrid and absolutely loves it. Great combo of sportiness and comfort. Personally I think the Sport turismo is the better looker vs the hatchback. Interior is excellent - a step up from the other Germans and miles ahead of Tesla. He’s had no issues with it. Considering a Sport Turismo Turbo myself (vs yet another RS6)
Is the C63 really small though? It’s the same size as the E55 from 2000
I’m surprised you saw any of the 2017-18 models with 50k miles at $50k. I’m considering the same, but the cheapest one I have come across is $56k with 66k miles. Would probably need the Porsche extended warranty on that which is another $6k, at which point it kinda becomes expensive. You would be able to get a brand new midsize audi, bmw, merc at those prices.
But Porsches are generally reliable and hold their value very well. Service costs would probably be on the higher side when compared to the other German brands, but in my personal opinion, the Panamera oozes class and is a pretty fun to drive car as well. Do check what options are there on the car you are looking at before buying. Sport chrono package is a must.
