Hi All! I am all set to join Infosys from 10th October as a Senior Consultant and they have given us an option of in person or virtual onboarding. With Wipro and TCS incorporating a hybrid model, is there any news that Infosys may also do the same?
My HR had given an option of permanent wfh during recruitment, can anyone currently working at Infosys shed some light on this please!! Infosys

Some fast growing cities with lower cost of living and good job markets:
Atlanta
Pittsburgh
Austin
Charlotte
Raleigh
Salt Lake City
Nashville
Boise (believe it or not)
We’re now willing to hire people who live anywhere. We have had a lot of success with the WFH situation and expect it to continue. If other agencies adopt the same policy, you can probably pick a city/town/village based on factors other than work. So, what do you like to do in your spare time? What kind of people do you enjoy? What kind of living arrangement do you want? All of those questions are now more important than where the employer is located.
This would be ideal honestly!

I'm in Austin, small market but great change of pace from when I was in NYC. It's weird to feel like I actually have a life outside of work again.
Upstate NY
Jersey Shore...
Rising Star
Milwaukee or Chicago
The market in Chicago is brutal right now.

It just always felt like a poor man's Chicago to me. It tries really hard to be a world class city but just falls so short. Not much in the way of character. Very little culture for a city of it's size. Just a big concrete jungle that lacks the perks of a big city like chi or ny.
You also have to deal with a much smaller ad scene and clients and budgets. There's still some good work being done though.
I guess I just never felt it had the perks of a big city but I felt a lot of the drawbacks.
