Thinking of making the jump from FDD to IB. Has anyone made a similar move? How did you go about it and was the comp increase in IB worth it

I interviewed for TCS on 11 Aug'21 & finished with TR & MR round which went pretty good. I was requested to upload documents next day on Ibegin Portal & received my salary breakup & call on 28th Aug from HR which I accepted.
I am still waiting for offer letter & status on Ibegin is showing Evaluation in progress. HR recruiter is saying he is still waiting for approval.

How much time should it ideally take for offer to generate?

Its a job with high responsibility and less technical knowledge is required . You can expect to work on weekend(Depend on your client) but comp off will be given and somedays there will be no work.

A few days later, another email went out stating they had made a mistake which decreased the raise by $4/hr instead of $6 increase. Can they do that? I work for the government and can’t imagine how they made an error. This email went out to hundreds of employees.
