Thinking of moving from EY to KPMG. I know they are not a big a player as the other three but is the compensation comparable?

I would strongly advise against moving from EY to KPMG. Long run EY will prove to be much better. PwC, Deloitte and EY are the firms to be with. And culture wise EY, PwC are better than the rest. Generally speaking.

I will call BS here. Having worked at PwC and KPMG - culture is way superior at KPMG.

I jumped ship from EY and I get paid way more. But I switched to deal advisory. In general I’d say you will get paid more if you switch firms, regardless of the firms. Also got promoted faster at KPMG than my peers at EY

Yes, it’s comparable. You’ll be paid more to start, but raises won’t be that great since you’ll be near the top of the bracket.
