Doing a full reallocation of my portfolio since I’ve got a lot of dry powder sitting around. I had previously invested in QQQ (tech, nasdaq) and done very well. But now considering doing VUG (growth stocks) instead. Looks like lots of similar companies with a lower conc in tech (50 vs 65%) and a much lower fee (.03% vs .2%). Any thoughts?
Ted Wheeler is learning a valuable lesson about playing with fire now that the "peaceful protesters" he has emboldened decided to visit him at his home and set it on fire. Even left wing Democrats aren't safe in Joe Biden's America.
Just moved to NY and want to spend my weekends exploring neighborhoods, starting with Manhattan + Brooklyn. I’ve done the most basic tourist things on past trips. Open to any recommendations from you seasoned New Yorkers! 😅
Any insights in program management as an exit opportunity? Pay, exit opps, typical responsibilities?
Beginner question: when/how do you pay capital gains tax on stocks? I’ve sold stocks at a profit, but have never declared it and have continued trading as usual... Trying not to get my front door kicked in 10 years from now
Assurance senior 1 at EY thinking of switching to Deloitte. Currently in SoCal but will be making a move soon to the Midwest for husband's job. Pros? Cons? SoCal office culture is not family friendly.
Ladies I had a difficult breakup today (actually this breakup dragged on for two months). Hard lesson but love is not enough without commitment. Commitment is an active choice
Need some advise. I'm considering switching firms. I am underpaid and benefits are not competitive at all at this firm. And I doubt promotion at the end of the year will get me to a decent pay rate. I like the place and people (for the most part) and I'm worried that I won't get that elsewhere. Basically that i will be trading the environment for the pay and benefits.
For those who have moved around, do environments contrast drastically? Is a switch from hourly to salary a good benefit in PA?
