Need about 25k Bonvoy points. Anyone?
Hello Société Générale folks,
Looking for some honest advice. Considering an offer with SocGen B’lore for Specialist Software Engineer position with 5.5 years exp and into Tech service management. Could you please tell me a bit about following points?
- I see 25% of the compensation(5Lakhs) is Variable. Does company even pay 60% of it at the end of the year if you perform say 4/5 rating?
- What is an average annual hike that the firm gives?
- How is the work culture? Societe Generale

I’d say there’s a lot to do around Denver. I’m moving there at the end of June but you would want to like the outdoors.
There’s hiking, skiing, biking, museums, 4 major sport teams, a huge music scene, red rock amphitheater, a ton of different eclectic neighbors-hoods.
DM an update of what you end up liking. I’m moving there at end of June
You should try picking a restaurant to try in each of the neighborhoods. It feels like a lot of the neighborhoods have residential areas and then a smaller bar/restaurant scene within each and it’d probably help to get a feel. I agree with PM1 that the city itself can be more focused on eat/drink compared to other large cities, but if you have access to a car it would be easy to do a day trip into the mountains. Hanging out at some of the parks or trying out a free intro climbing class at one of the climbing gyms in town is also fun!
This is a good take regarding each neighborhood having residential surrounding a smaller strip of bars/restaurants/shops. Most cities grow this way and eventually we will see the gaps in between each hood become developed as well.
Greys and Torres are some of the most accessible 14ers. Go climb those 😁
Yes, Denver is okay as a city. What makes it so special is the proximity to high altitude.
Food is lackluster at best, but they have every franchise known to man.
Agreed. Himchuli is good Indian food though.
Check out a show at the mission! The venue is incredible
Park hill. It’s close to city park, and you can have lunch at Spinelli’s or Honey Hill cafe.
Not a whole lot to do in Denver except eat/drink. Most of the bros live there for the mountains.
Hey D1 paws off!
Also, single 26M if that's helpful
